little secrets

i'm four again.
stacking blocks as high as the ceiling. the ceiling that's two feet tall. the ceiling that's as high as the sky. the ceiling that's always one block away from being reached. before the blocks come tumbling down. falling in slow motion. like paper airplanes. and heart whispers. and little secrets. they fall at my feet for my hands to catch again.
each time harder than the last.

but i'm stubborn.
